It’s no secret UFC lightweight contender Tony Ferguson is not a fan of fellow lightweight contender Khabib Nurmagomedov.
On Wednesday, Ferguson posted a video on his Instagram account that showed himself submitting Nurmagomedov in EA’s UFC 2 video game.
“(Expletive) you, Khabib,” Ferguson said while watching replays of his submission win over Nurmagomedov.
In the video game, Ferguson defeats Nurmagomedov with a twister submission hold. In the video below, you can watch Ferguson submit Nurmagomedov in UFC 2.
Ferguson and Nurmagomedov are expected to fight sometime in the near future. Both fighters have agreed to fight at UFC 217 in November, but the fight has yet to be made official.
Both lightweight contenders were scheduled to fight each other earlier this year for an interim lightweight title, but Nurmagomedov withdrew from the fight due to issues with his weight cut.
Ferguson and Nurmagomedov are among the top contenders in the UFC lightweight division. If they fought, there would be no doubt as to who deserves the next title opportunity in the lightweight division.
