The UFC has added two major fights to their schedule in November.
Former UFC Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis will headline a UFC Fight Night in Norfolk, Virginia on Nov. 11. Pettis is scheduled to fight lightweight contender Dustin Poirier.
Pettis is currently trying to regain his thrown on top of the lightweight division. Last month, at UFC 213, Pettis returned to the division and won a decision against Jim Miller.
Poirier is coming off a controversial no-contest against former UFC Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez back in May. The fight was stopped after Alvarez landed multiple illegal knees on the ground.
The UFC has also announced a pivotal fight in the light heavyweight division for their return to New York City.
At UFC 217, Corey Anderson will fight Patrick Cummins at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 4.
Anderson is coming off a knockout loss to Jimi Manuawa earlier this year.
Cummins is on a two-fight win streak. He is coming off decision wins over Gian Villante and Jan Blachowicz.
