UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley has shared his thoughts on UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones’ latest failed drug test.
During an interview with TMZ Sports, Woodley says he shares a manager with Jones and was told Jones will be appealing the failed test.
Woodley went on to say that it is possible for Jones to have taken a tainted supplement because it wouldn’t make sense for his to take steroids prior to fighting Daniel Cormier.
“To me, it doesn’t make a ton of sense for him to basically take steroids to fight Daniel Cormier,” Woodley said.
“Daniel Cormier is more of a grinder, he does have strength, but I would think they would want to be lighter, and have more speed, and be more agile to fight someone who is a grinder like that.”
