UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping doesn’t have many more fights left in him.
Bisping recently appeared on Jon Anik and Kenny Florian’s podcast and said he plans to retire in the near future.
“Retirement scares me. But I can’t wait to (expletive) retire because believe me, getting punched in the face is getting kind of old, but at the same time, I do enjoy delivering a good punch to the face,” Bisping said. “So maybe two more fights, and that’s me, done.”
If Bisping only fights two more times, his legendary MMA career has already had a story book ending. After years of being known as the best fighter to never fight for the UFC title, Bisping finally fought for, and won, the UFC middleweight title in June 2016.
This past weekend, UFC President Dana White said Bisping’s next title defense will be against former UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre.
