A historic night of boxing took place over the weekend. While the fight may be remembered by fight fans for years to come, it will not all be for great reasons.
UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor faced off against Floyd Mayweather Jr. on Saturday night. After a ten round battle, “Notorious” suffered a technical knockout loss to his opponent. Now, Floyd Mayweather Jr. sits atop a 50-0 perfect record.
However, the main event was shortly delayed due to faulty streaming services for the night’s pay-per-view. Thousands of fight fans were left unable to view the historic night of fights due to erroneous servers and crashing streaming services. Now, it would appear that many users of the UFC.TV pay-per-view service were unable to receive a refund for their purchases.
After UFC.TV began experiencing issues, the official UFC Fight Pass Twitter account began directing people to other $99.95 streaming services for the fight.
