The UFC returned to Mexico City on Saturday night with a Fight Night event filled with up-and-coming fighters trying to make a name for themselves on MMA’s biggest stage.
The night opened with a lightweight battle between Alvaro Herrera and Jordan Rinaldi.
Rinaldi started the fight with a leg kick. In the opening seconds, Rinaldi was the more active fighter. Herrera stayed calm and chose his shots wisely. Rinaldi got the fight to the ground and locked in a choke. In the end, Rinaldi submitted his opponent early in the first round with a Von Flue Choke.
