Tropical storm Harvey is causing intense flooding in Houston, Texas. One Houston resident, UFC’s own Derrick Lewis, has decided to do something about the situation.
UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis recently took to social media to share a video of himself among a group of people helping local residents during the time of crisis.
Over Instagram, Derrick Lewis stated “It feels good to help people #houstonflood.” In the video, residents can be seen wading through the flood as they haul supplies from their homes.
Derrick Lewis is coming off of a TKO loss to Mark Hunt at UFC Fight Night 110, pulling the fighter off of his 6 fight winning streak.
