Former UFC Middleweight Champion Luke Rockhold once sparred with one of the fighters competing on the main card for the upcoming boxing event featuring Floyd “Money” Mayweather vs. UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.
Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Showtime Sports will air the fight live via pay-per-view.
On the pay-per-view broadcast, undefeated prospect Andrew Tabiti with fight former boxing champion Steve Cunningham.
A few years ago, Tabiti spent some time sparring with Rockhold, who later went on to become UFC champion.

Tabiti is undefeated with 14 wins. Twelve of his wins have come by knockout.
Rockhold has not fought since losing his title to current UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping in June 2016.
Rockhold is scheduled to fight David Branch at a UFC Fight Night in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Sept. 16.
