The UFC has a new prospect in the women’s strawweight division.
On Tuesday, Jamie Colleen defeated Tiffany Masters on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series.
Colleen and Masters competed in a hard-fought battle for three rounds. In the final seconds of the fight, Colleen managed to secure an armbar and forced her opponent to submit.
Had the fight gone to a decision, it is likely Masters would have earned the victory.

Colleen currently has an overall MMA record of 4-1. Her only loss came against UFC strawweight contender Danielle Taylor. However, Colleen also defeated Taylor in her professional MMA debut.
This loss marked Masters’ first loss in her MMA career. Prior to the fight, she was undefeated with two wins.
