UFC heavyweight Arhan Bhullar is set to make his octagon debut at UFC 215 on Sept. 9 in Alberta, Canada. However, it would appear that the fighter will be taking a different approach to his UFC walk out for the night.
Over Instagram, Bhullar revealed that he will be walked out to the octagon by WWE star Jinder Mahal.
“When we as a people can genuinely support each other amazing is possible. I was able to watch The Maharaja do his thing in Vancouver and now I’m excited to announce @wwe Champ @jindermahal will be taking time away from his busy schedule to accompany the Team for my debut fight in his home province of Alberta. Shout out to the boss @danawhite for hooking up the VIP treatment #indian #onebillionstrong #punjabi #pride #support #loyal #humble #respect #wwe #ufc” He stated.
Ever since the sale of the mixed martial arts promotion from Zuffa to WME/IMG, things have been changing for the UFC. While a WWE star walking out a UFC fighter to the octagon may have been unlikely under the Zuffa era, it would appear that the newly shaped Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) see things differently.
