It was recently reported that professional wrestling legend Ric Flair has been hospitalized due to heart problems. Now it would appear that the WWE superstar is tragically in a coma.
As reported by Main Event Radio, “Ric Flair’s heart is failing due to alcoholic cardiomyopathy. Is in an induced coma in ICU. Hoping he is able to recover. Praying for him..”
Ric Flair is not the only athlete to have been hospitalized and induced into a coma as of late. UFC Hall of Famer Matt Hughes was recently released from the hospital following a tragic accident. After the fighter’s vehicle was struck by a train, Hughes was rushed to a nearby hospital, with the fighter later entering a coma. Now, Matt Hughes is conscious and returning home.
