With Conor McGregor set to face off against Floyd Mayweather Jr. tonight, fans and fighters are bubbling with excitement over the highly anticipated match up. Now, it would appear that a group of fans may have taken things into their own hands when it comes to promoting the UFC lightweight champion.
As reported by Mick Akers, Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s Team Mayweather billboard in Las Vegas, Nevada appears to have been vandalized. On the billboard, an Irish flag can be seen below “49-1.” The fans appear to have wished to send Floyd Mayweather Jr. a message that his 50th performance inside the boxing ring may not go his way.
Mayweather Jr. and McGregor will face off inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. tonight, Aug. 26.
