It’s very rare to ever see former UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre on the losing side of any battle.
In 2005, St-Pierre was on the receiving end of a flying armbar submission against Leo Santos at an ADCC grappling tournament.
The 16-man tournament featured many fighters who later became big names in the sport of MMA including Renzo Gracie, Shinya Aoki, Diego Sanchez, Roan Carneiro, and Jake Shields.
St-Pierre made it to the second round before he was submitted by Santos.
In the video above, you can see St-Pierre get submitted with a stunning flying armbar.
St-Pierre has only been submitted once in his MMA career. In 2004, St-Pierre was submitted by UFC Hall of Famer Matt Hughes in a title fight.
After being away from the sport for the last four years, St-Pierre is scheduled to make his return to the Octagon.
On Nov. 4, UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping will defend his title against St-Pierre at UFC 217 in New York City.
