It’s never a good idea to underestimate UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.
In the past, UFC fighters who have underestimated McGregor’s punching power have ended up getting knocked out by the Irishman.
In the video below, you can see highlights of what has happened to some of the best MMA fighters in the world when they don’t respect what McGregor can do inside the cage.
Fighters such as Diego Brandao, Dustin Poirier, Chad Mendes, former UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo, and former UFC Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez have all made the mistake of thinking McGregor was overrated.
In each of their fights, all of those fighters either lost to McGregor by knockout or TKO.
In his next fight, McGregor will test if his knockout power will transfer over to the sport of boxing.
On Aug. 26, McGregor will fight boxing legend Floyd “Money” Mayweather at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
