Head coach to the acclaimed mixed martial arts training camp Straight Blast Gym Ireland, John Kavanagh recently competed in an event of his own. This time, the mixed martial artist took part in a recent grappling match.
In the video above, John Kavanagh can be seen taking on Javed Uddyl at a Ground Control grappling tournament. In the end, the head coach earned himself a victory by means of an armbar submission.
Kavanagh’s star pupil, Conor McGregor, will face off against Floyd Mayweather Jr. inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Aug. 26.
