UFC President Dana White has not been happy with the way Showtime has handled some of the preparation for the upcoming fight between Floyd “Money” Mayweather and UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.
With just days before the fight, Showtime told White that it was his responsibility to find someone to sing the Irish national anthem in honor of McGregor.
Showtime Sports is responsible for the television broadcast for Saturday’s fight. With Showtime being in charge, the UFC didn’t expect to be responsible for any of the fight preparation.
Regardless, the UFC found someone to sing the national anthem but White didn’t want to reveal who it is yet.
