UFC’s Michelle Waterson recently expressed her thoughts on ONE atomweight champion Angela Lee. Waterson is considered one of the top UFC strawweights in the world and has even challenged current champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk. Now, the undefeated inaugural champion has provided her response.
In an interview with MMA Junkie, she stated “It doesn’t bother me too much, because I have supreme confidence in myself and knowing what I’m capable of as a fighter,” said Lee (8-0), who next rematches Mei Yamaguchi (16-10-1) at ONE Championship 65 on Nov. 24 at Singapore Indoor Stadium,” said Angela Lee. “I think a lot of the UFC fighters and a lot of the girls that come over to Singapore, they like to talk a lot. That’s what they’re supposed to do, because they’re with a different organization.
Lee continued, “But if you were to put us inside the cage together, I think it would be a different story.”
