There is only one female featherweight fighter the UFC has signed that can be a threat to UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino.
Former Invicta champion Megan Anderson was scheduled to fight “Cyborg” for the vacant UFC Women’s Featherweight Championship, but she was forced to withdraw from the fight.
On Tuesday, Anderson posted a video of herself hitting pads on Twitter.
“Great to be back hitting mitts with (James Krause) again. Getting better every day,” Anderson wrote on Twitter.
In the video below, you can see for yourself how impressive Anderson looks while hitting pads.
When she is able to return to competition, Anderson is on the short list of fighters who are deserving to fight “Cyborg” for her UFC championship.
Anderson is currently on a four-fight win streak and has an overall MMA record of 8-2. Anderson is known for being a dangerous striker. All of her recent victories have come by TKO.
