Boxing world champion Canelo Alvarez is known for being one of the most devastating punchers in the sport.
Currently, Alvarez has an impressive professional boxing record of 49-1-1. Out of his 49 victories, 34 of them have ended with Canelo knocking out his opponent.
In the video below, you can watch the top 10 knockouts of Canelo’s boxing career so far.
Alvarez is currently on a seven-fight win streak. He is coming off a decision win against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in May. Canelo’s only loss in his boxing career was a decision loss to Floyd “Money” Mayweather back in 2013. Mayweather was able to easily outpoint Alvarez to earn a decision win.
This weekend, Canelo Alvarez will fight another knockout artist in the sport of boxing when he fights Gennady Golovkin. The fight has been very anticipated and was constantly compared to the Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor fight from this past August.
With 37 wins, Golovkin is undefeated inside the squared circle and has ended 34 of his fights by knockout.
Canelo vs. Golovkin will take place Sept. 16 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The middleweight bout will have multiple titles on the line including the Ring, IBF, and WBA middleweight championships.
