Former UFC title challenger Cat Zingano recently shared some thoughtful words towards former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey.
This past weekend, Rousey got married to UFC heavyweight Travis Browne in Hawaii. After seeing Rousey’s photos online, Zingano sent a nice message about her former opponent.
“This is beautiful. They found peace in each other,” Zingano wrote on her Instagram.
In Feb. 2015, Zingano fought Rousey for her UFC title. In the main event of UFC 184, Rousey won the fight after submitting Zingano in the first round.
Rousey only defended her title one other time before losing her championship to Holly Holm. In her last fight, Rousey was defeated by UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes.
After losing her last two fights, Rousey has shown no signs of making a return to the Octagon. As time goes on, it appears Rousey is done competing in the sport.
