Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion Conor “Notorious” McGregor stepped inside a boxing ring in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. on Aug. 26. It was the UFC superstar’s boxing debut. Starring across from him was undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr.
In the 10th round, Floyd Mayweather Jr. earned a technical knockout victory over his opponent. However, “Notorious” does not appear to be taking the loss terribly hard.
As one of the year’s most highly anticipated match ups, both fighters are expected to profit grandly from the event. Now, Conor McGregor has gone to Instagram to state “The captured Orangutan who obeyed the rules of a Circus and got filthy rich from it.”
