UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor still has a black eye more than one week after his professional boxing debut.
Recently, McGregor has been posting photos of himself partying in Ibiza on his Instagram. In McGregor’s latest photo, he is still showing damage from his fight against Floyd “Money” Mayweather. McGregor’s black eye can be seen in the photo below.
McGregor looked good throughout his professional boxing debut. The UFC champion landed over 100 punches throughout the fight and proved he belonged in the same ring as one of the greatest boxers of all time.
However, as the fight went on, McGregor began to fatigue. As the Irishman got tired, Mayweather became more aggressive. In the 10th round, Mayweather landed multiple hard punches that resulted in the referee awarding him the TKO victory.
Regardless of the loss, McGregor earned the biggest payday of his fighting career. He also proved that he can be a threat in the world of boxing, as well as one of the greatest fighters in the UFC.
