Cris Cyborg Is Pissed (Again), Speaks Out Against Her Official UFC Ranking

UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino is not happy about her spot in the official UFC pound-for-pound rankings.

On Tuesday, “Cyborg” went on a rant on Twitter about not being happy with the way the UFC rankings work.

“I was #9 in the (UFC) p4p rankings b4 the USADA investigation. Never suspended. Didnt lose a fight, left out rankings a year. Came back #13,” Justino wrote on Twitter.

“Cyborg” then pointed out that UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones has been flagged by USADA but has not been taken out of the rankings.

“Jones was promoting #ufc214 suspended. He currently has a flagged sample from #ufc214. He is still listed in the rankings. Double standards,” Justino said.

UFC fighters are usually immediately taken out of the UFC rankings after being flagged by USADA, but with Jones being a champion, the UFC has yet to take him out of their rankings.

“Cyborg” went on to say that she believes the UFC should not create their own rankings, even though media members are the ones who do the voting.

“Rankings cant b controlled by the promoter if they are going 2 be organic. The ranking must be independent. Writers worry about credentials,” Justino wrote.
