It would appear that the UFC flyweight champion may not be compensated for UFC 215 after all.
UFC flyweight champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson was initially set to face off against Ray Borg in the main event of UFC 215. However, Borg was pulled from the fight after suffering health issues. Now, “Mighty Mouse” has revealed that he has not yet been paid for the event.
Appearing on today’s edition of The MMA Hour, Demetrious Johnson explained to Ariel Helwani that he has not yet been paid for UFC 215. Johnson also explained that it is unclear if he will ever be paid for the event at all.
A new fight for the flyweight champion has yet to be secured.
