Heavyweight boxing legends Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson are widely regarded as two of the greatest boxers to ever step foot inside the squared circle.
While people debate on who the greatest boxer of all time really is, Floyd “Money” Mayweather believes he has a strong claim to be the greatest to have ever competed in the sport.
Mayweather once claimed that he believed he was a better boxer than Ali. After hearing Mayweather’s comments, Tyson responded by saying Mayweather was delusional.
“He’s very delusional,” Tyson said. “If he was anywhere near that realm of Muhammad Ali, he would be able to take his kids to school by himself.”
Tyson went on to say that if Mayweather was the greatest, he wouldn’t need security with him at all times because everybody would respect him.
“Greatness is not guarding yourself from people, greatness is being accepted by the people,” Tyson said.
“He can’t take his kids alone to school by himself. He’s a little scared man. He’s a very small scared man.”
Mayweather recently retired from the sport of boxing. Following a TKO win against UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor last month, Mayweather is leaving the sport with a perfect 50-0 record.
