UFC lightweight contender Justin Gaethje has shared his opinion on UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor’s professional boxing debut.
This week, Gaethje appeared on TUF Talk and shared his thoughts on the lightweight champion’s performance last weekend.
“He did great. I’ll be honest, he did better than I thought he would,” Gaethje said. “I’m happy for the guy. He got paid a lot of money to do something he’s never done before. So props to him.”
McGregor looked good early in his fight against Floyd “Money” Mayweather. In the early rounds, McGregor managed to land more punches and appeared to be the better boxer. But as time went on, McGregor got fatigued and Mayweather became more aggressive. In the end, Mayweather won the fight in the 10th round by TKO.
In the video below, you can listen to Gaethje share all of his opinions on how McGregor did against one of the greatest boxers of all time.
