The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) hosted another exciting event over the weekend. UFC 215 took place Sept. 9 inside Rogers Place in Edmonton, Canada. In the night’s main event, UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes successfully defended her title from returning opponent Valentina Shevchenko. However, the main event was not the only exciting fight of the night.
In another exciting match up, UFC lightweights Gilbert Melendez and Jeremy Stephens faced off in an intense match up that would ultimately go the distance.
Melendez injured his leg early in the match, leading to problems for the fighter throughout the bout. Now, an update on the fighter’s leg a day after the fighter can be seen below.
