UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk officially has a fight.
On Wednesday, Jedrzejczyk announced on her Instagram account that her next title fight is set.
“Fight announcement coming soon,” Jedrzejczyk wrote on Instagram. “What do you think? Who is going to be my next opponent and where?”
Jedrzejczyk has shown interest in fighting at UFC 217 on Nov. 4 in New York City in the past. There were also reports of her defending her title against former UFC title challenger Rose Namajunas at the event. However, the UFC has yet to confirm who, or when, Jedrzejczyk will fight next.
In her next fight, Jedrzejczyk will be defending her UFC title for the sixth time. Jedrzejczyk has been dominant throughout her reign as UFC champion.
Overall, Jedrzejczyk is undefeated in the sport of MMA with a record of 14-0. She won the UFC title back in 2015 after defeating Carla Esparza. Since then, she has successfully defended her title against Jessica Penne, Valerie Letourneau, Claudia Gadelha, Karolina Kowalkiewicz, and Jessica Andrade.
