Former UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo has revealed who his next opponent will be.
During a recent interview, Aldo claims that he will be fighting at UFC 217 on Nov. 4 in New York City. He also said he will be fighting in a rematch against Ricardo Lamas.
Aldo defended his UFC title against Lamas by earning a unanimous decision victory at UFC 169 back in 2014.
In his last fight, Aldo lost his UFC title to Max Holloway in the main event of UFC 212 in June.
Aldo holds the record for the most successful title defenses in UFC featherweight history. In his UFC career, he has defended his title on seven different occasions. Overall, Aldo has won 11 featherweight title fights in both the UFC and WEC.
Lamas is on a two-fight win streak. He is coming off a TKO win over Jason Knight in July. Last November, he submitted Charles Oliveira.
