UFC lightweight contender Michael Chiesa has signed a new contract with the UFC.
Earlier this week, it was revealed Chiesa agreed to a new four-fight deal with the world’s premeire MMA organization. After the news broke, Chiesa went to Twitter and thanked his manager.
“Thank you to the best manager in the business, my good friend (Daniel Rubenstein),” Chiesa wrote. “Fights news soon to come, I’m coming for that belt.”
Chiesa is currently one of the top contenders in the UFC lightweight division. He is ranked No. 10 in the official UFC rankings.
In his last fight, Chiesa was submitted in the first round by Kevin Lee in their main event fight back in June.
Prior to the loss, Chiesa was coming off the two of the biggest wins of his UFC career. In back-to-back fights, Chiesa submitted Jim Miller and Beneil Dariush.
