UFC light heavyweight Ovince Saint Preux wants to know whether or not UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones was using performance-enhancing drugs when the two fought.
Jones was flagged for an anti-doping violation after he failed a drug test given to him by the U.S Anti-Doping Agency (USADA). His failed test came from a sample taken the day before he fought Daniel Cormier at UFC 214.
In 2016, Saint Preux fought Jones for an interim light heavyweight title, and Jones earned a unanimous decision victory.
Prior to Jones’ next fight, in July 2016, Jones failed a USADA drug test and was suspended for a year.
With Jones failing drug tests for his next two fights, Saint Preux is curious if Jones was using PED for their fight.
“I just wanted him to tell the truth,” Saint Preux said on a recent episode of Submission Radio. “I just wanted to know, but at the end of the day, what can I do about it.”
In the video below, you can listen to Saint Preux discuss Jones’ failed drug test.
Saint Preux is currently scheduled to fight former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua in a rematch. The two will headline a UFC Fight Night event in Japan on Sept. 22.
