Former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir recently offered his thoughts on Daniel Cormier’s performance against Jon “Bones” Jones. The title fight grudge match would end in a knockout loss for Daniel Cormier, but would later be overturned. Jon Jones failed another drug test, forcing officials to overturn the fight and give Cormier back his title.
On his podcast, Frank Mir would go on to criticize Daniel Cormier for crying after suffering his knockout loss to Jon Jones. Frank Mir said, “Here’s the time that it is unacceptable to cry, and that is when someone kicks your ass.”
Cormier and Mir also fought back at UFC on Fox 7 during Arpil of 2013, where Cormier defeated the former UFC heavyweight champion via unanimous decision.
Now, it would appear that the UFC light heavyweight champion may have been irked by the late criticism.
Going to Twitter, Cormier let it be known that he plans on fighting the former champion the next time he sees him.
“@thefrankmir I’m gonna kick ur ass again when I see you!”
