Replay | Mike Perry’s Not Playing, Leaves Opponent Hanging After Denying Handshake At Today’s Weigh-ins

UFC welterweight prospect “Platinum” Mike Perry was not playing around at Friday’s weigh-ins.

On Friday, both Perry and his upcoming opponent, UFC newcomer Alex Reyes, made weight for their co-main event fight on Saturday.

After all the fighters weighed in, each fighter was given an opportunity to stare down their opponents one last time before they meet inside the Octagon.

Things quickly got intense between Perry and Reyes when the two went face-to-face. When the two separated, Reyes went to shake Perry’s hand, but Perry walked away.

Below, you can watch Perry leave Reyes hanging the day before the fight in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Perry was originally scheduled to fight former UFC title challenger Thiago Alves. However, just three days before their fight, Alves withdrew from the bout. Luckily, the UFC was quickly able to find someone to fight Perry on short notice.

Saturday’s UFC Fight Night will be headlined by a middleweight battle featuring former UFC Middleweight Champion Luke Rockhold and David Branch.
