Former UFC Welterweight Champion Rafael dos Anjos has proven he is one of the top contenders in the UFC welterweight division.
On Saturday, Dos Anjos dominated and submitted welterweight contender Neil Magny at UFC 215.
Dos Anjos did not take long to get the fight to the mat when the fight started. On the ground, Dos Anjos dominated Magny and managed to secure an arm triangle. After fighting as long as he could, Magny was eventually forced to tap out.
With his win over Magny, Dos Anjos has won both of his UFC fights at 170 pounds. Back in June, Dos Anjos made his welterweight debut and won a decision against former Strikeforce champion Tarec Saffiedine.
Dos Anjos has now proved he is a top contender in the division and should be in consideration to fight UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley in his next fight.
