The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has put on another exhilarating night of fights. This time, the mixed martial arts promotion moved to Edmonton, Canada for UFC 215. In the night’s headliner, UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes attempted to defend her belt from returning opponent Valentina Shevchenko.
With the fight ultimately going the distance, the two competitors put on five rounds of technical fighting. In the end, Amanda Nunes earned a split decision victory over her opponent. However, the official decision has since drawn some ire and controversy from fight fans.
