Shevchenko Looks Ready For Her Title Shot And Rematch With Amanda Nunes

UFC title contender Valentina Shevchenko looks ready for her upcoming title fight.

Shevchenko will fight UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes in the co-main event of UFC 215 on Saturday night.

On Thursday, the open workouts for UFC 215 were held in Canada, and Shevchenko appears to be in great shape.

In the photo below, you can see Shevchenko’s athletic ability on full display during her open workout.

Shevchenko earned her title opportunity in the UFC after winning her last two fights. In her last fight, Shevchenko submitted fellow contender Julianna Pena in January. Prior to that win, Shevchenko proved she was one of the best in the division when she earned a decision win over former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Holly Holm.

Prior to her recent wins, Shevchenko lost a three-round decision to Nunes last year. Shevchenko will have a chance at redemption when she fights Nunes in a five-round fight at UFC 215.

UFC 215 will take place Sept. 9 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The event will be headlined by UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson defending his title against Ray Borg.
