UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones has once again tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs.
Last month, the U.S Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) announced that Jones had tested positive for steroid use in an in-competition drug test. The sample Jones’ provided that resulted in the failed drug test was taken the day before Jones fought Daniel Cormier at UFC 214.
On Tuesday, the results came in for Jones’ B-sample, and his second sample also tested positive for the same steroid.
With Jones history of failed drug tests, USADA may suspend him for up to four years if it is proven he knowingly took PEDs. Jones may also be stripped of his UFC title and may have his win over Cormier at UFC 214 overturned.
After hearing the news of Jones’ B-sample testing positive for the same steroid. Many UFC fighters went to social media and shared their thoughts on Jones’ situation.
Does this make @dc_mma the GOAT? UndefeatedUFC champion, Strikeforce heavyweight Grand Prix champion and the only man to beat Jon x2.
