Staredowns! Amanda Nunes and Valentina Shevchenko Mean Mug One Last Time — Replay

Things got intense during Friday’s official weigh-ins for UFC 215.

In the UFC 215 main event, UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes will defend her title against top contender Valentina Shevchenko.

At the official weigh-ins, the two women headlining the event got one last opportunity to square off before they meet inside the Octagon.

UFC 215 will take place Saturday, September 9 at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The event will air live on pay-per-view.

UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson was originally scheduled to headline the event against Ray Borg. But on Thursday, Borg was forced to withdraw from the fight due to illness. As a result, Nunes vs. Shevchenko was promoted to the main event.

In the new co-main event, former UFC champion Rafael dos Anjos will fight Neil Magny in a pivotal welterweight battle.
