The UFC has booked two new fights that are scheduled to take place later this year.
Former UFC title challenger Karolina Kowalkiewicz will fight in her home country of Poland at a UFC Fight Night event on Oct. 21.
Kowalkiewicz is scheduled to fight Invicta FC veteran Jodie Esquibel, who will be making her UFC debut.
Kowalkeiwicz is currently coming off the first two losses of her MMA career. In her last fight, she was submitted by Claudia Gadelha back in June. Last November, Kowalkiewicz lost a decision to UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk. Prior to the losses, Kowalkiewicz was undefeated with 10 wins.
Esquibel will make her UFC debut with a 6-2 MMA record. She is coming off a split decision win over DeAnna Bennett back in March.
The UFC has also announced a bantamweight fight that will take place at The Ultimate Fighter Finale on Dec. 1.
Former UFC title challenger Joe Soto will fight undefeated Brett Johns.
Soto is on a three-fight winning streak inside the Octagon. Johns has won both of his UFC fights and is overall unbeaten with 14 wins.
