The UFC Just Signed Their First Chinese Female To The Roster

The UFC has signed their first Chinese female fighter to their roster.

Strawweight fighter Xiaonan “Fury” Yan recently signed a deal with the UFC. At age 28, Yan has a professional record of 7-1 and has won five of her last six fights.

Yan’s last MMA fight ended in a no contest. At a Road FC event, Yan fought Emi Fujino. The fight ended after a nasty cut was opened on Fujino’s head followed an accidental clash of heads.

Prior to the no contest, Yan was on a five-fight win streak. Four of those fights ended by knockout or TKO, but all of those fights came against women who either had one professional fight or were making their professional debuts.

Yan will now have an opportunity to prove herself against some of the best in the world when she joins the UFC women’s strawweight division. The UFC has yet to announce when Yan will make her UFC debut.

Congratulations XiaoNan the Fury Yan ! The 1st Chinese female UFC fighter! #chineseufc #ufc #mma #femalemma
