The UFC returned to the Netherlands on Saturday with a Fight Night event in Rotterdam.
In the co-main event, undefeated prospect Rob Wilkinson made his UFC debut when he fought Siyar Bahadurzada in a middleweight bout.
Wilkinson opened the fight with a leg kick. Wilkinson then threw a head kick but it was caught by Bahadurzada. After going to the ground briefly, Wilkinson got back to his feet and both fighters exchanged punches. Wilkinson went for a takedown but was only able to get his opponent down briefly. Bahadurzada landed a devastating body kick and then went for a head-and-arm choke. Wilkinson escaped and got back to his feet. After fighting against the cage, Wilkinson landed another takedown. In the final seconds, Bahadurzada fought back to his feet.
At the start of the second round, both fighters traded punches and kicks, but Wilkinson appeared to land the cleaner shots. Bahadurzada stunned Wilkinson with a right hand. Wilkinson appeared to quickly recover. Bahadurazda then dropped Wilkinson with an uppercut and swarmed all over the undefeated fighter. Eventually, the referee stepped in and stopped the fight.
