After coming off of a two fight losing streak inside the octagon, mixed martial arts veteran Takeya Mizugaki decided to try his luck inside the Russian promotion Absolute Championship Berkut. Well, it would appear that Mizugaki’s ACB debut did not go as he had hoped.
Takeya Mizugaki made his ACB debut at ACB 71 today. For his debut, the MMA veteran faced off against Rustam Kerimov. In the first round, Takeya Mizugaki suffered a brutal TKO loss to his opponent. Now, the fighter is coming off of a rough three fight losing streak.
Before making his debut with ACB, Mizugaki suffered a TKO loss to Eddie Wineland last year. Mizugaki was attempting to come back from a TKO loss to now reigning UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt. As a result, Mizugaki has suffered a first round TKO loss in his last three fights.
