Valentina Shevchenko Envisions Flawless Title Winning Performance at UFC 215

UFC women’s bantamweight contender Valentina Shevchenko will have an opportunity to win UFC gold on Saturday night.

At UFC 215, Shevchenko will fight UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes in the main event.

On Thursday, Shevchenko did an interview with MMAjunkie and talked about her upcoming fight. In the video below, you can listen to Shevchenko talk about how she will be victorious on Saturday night.

This will be the second time Shevchenko and Nunes meet inside the Octagon. Last year, at UFC 196, Nunes earned a decision win against Shevchenko.

Since their first fight, both fighters have won two fights in the UFC. Nunes won the UFC title by submitting Miesha Tate. In her first title defense, Nunes knocked out Ronda Rousey.

After suffering her first UFC loss, Shevchenko went on to win a decision against former UFC champion Holly Holm. Shevchenko earned her title opportunity by submitting Julianna Pena back in January.

UFC 215 will take place Sept. 9 at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
