Over the past few weeks, there has been a lot of speculation over UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones’ history of steroid use.
Last month, it was revealed Jones tested positive for steroid use from an in-competition sample taken the day before he fought Daniel Cormier at UFC 214.
In July, at UFC 214, Jones knocked out Cormier to regain his UFC title.
Prior to their fight, Jones and Cormier appeared on UFC Tonight and argued about Jones’ history with performance-enhancing drugs. During their interview, Cormier claimed that Jones took PEDs, while Jones claimed to have never taken steroids.
In the video below, you can listen to these two bitter rivals argue about Jones taking PEDs.
Before fighting Cormier in July, Jones was suspended from the sport for a year after failing a drug test in July 2016.
With Jones’ second failed drug test he may be suspended for up to four years. If proven guilty of knowingly taking steroids, Jones may also be stripped of his title and have his win against Cormier overturned.
