It would appear that “The Pitbull” will be making an octagon return early next year.
UFC bantamweight Bethe Correia has not achieved a victory inside the octagon since 2016. The fighter suffered a majority draw to Marion Reneau at UFC Fight Night 106. Most recently, Correia faced a brutal knockout loss to Holly Holm’s signature question mark kick at UFC Fight Night 111. “Pittbull” now sits atop a professional record of 10-3.
Taking to Instagram, Bethe Correia has revealed that she has landed a fight for the UFC’s upcoming card in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for Jan. 14.
Correia was on a tear through the mixed martial arts world with a nine fight winning streak when she suffered her first defeat to UFC superstar Ronda Rousey back in 2015. Since then Correia has earned a split decision victory over Jessica Eye, making for the fighter’s only victory in her last five performances.
