Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight champion Michael Bisping is gearing up for his second title defense. This time, the mixed martial arts veteran is getting ready to face off against former welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre in the main event of UFC 217. In anticipation for the event, “The Count” recently sat down with FOX Sports’ Colin Cowherd to discuss his thoughts ahead of the fight.
Georges St-Pierre has not competed inside the octagon in nearly four years. After a close decision victory title defense over Johny Hendricks, “Rush” decided to retire. That being said, the fighter has since had a change of heart. Coming back to the UFC, St-Pierre is ready to make a run at the middleweight division. For his big return, the fighter is taking on “The Count” for the middleweight title.
UFC 217 goes down Nov. 4 inside the Madison Square Garden Arena in New York. The event will be featured live on pay-per-view.
