Michael Bisping is preparing for his second title defense, as the middleweight champion is set to welcome Georges St-Pierre back into the octagon. With the two set to throw down at UFC 217, the mixed martial arts promotion set out to Toronto today in anticipation for the event. At today’s pre-fight press conference in Canada, “The Count” let loose another tirade of classic trash-talking towards St-Pierre and his respective fans. This time, the UFC middleweight champion managed to get some laughs from the UFC president and “Rush” during his smack talking monologue.
Bisping has been going heavy with the trash talk towards St. Pierre. Whether it’s on his podcast or when being interviewed, he’s not letting up on the former UFC welterweight champion.
“He still looks like a lizard,. I said that at the last press conference, and he still looks like one now. He looks like a blown-up version of himself, trying to get bigger.” Bisping said at a recent press conference. “He’s the biggest Georges St-Pierre that we’ve ever seen, but he’s still the smallest guy that I’m ever going to fight. I was 15-0 at light heavyweight, I’m the world champion at middleweight. He’s a blown-up welterweight. I mean, he’s bringing in all these trainers. He’s got Freddie Roach down there. Freddie Roach is a great boxing coach, but he doesn’t know f*ck-all about MMA. He couldn’t even spell UFC, let alone MMA.”
Heading to Toronto, Canada, Georges St-Pierre and Michael Bisping met face to face in promotion for their pay-per-view main event at UFC 217 today. During the pre-fight press conference, Michael Bisping decided to talk a little trash towards St-Pierre’s fan base. The champion can be seen cracking up UFC President Dana White and the former UFC welterweight champion with his smack talk in the video above.
UFC 217 goes down Nov. 4 inside the Madison Square Garden Arena in New York and will be featured on pay-per-view.
