Thanks to Sunday’s tragic mass-shooting in Las Vegas, the UFC has decided to sensor at least one UFC 216 fighter’s walk-out music.
UFC 216 takes place tomorrow from the T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas.
Former UFC title challenger John Moraga revealed yesterday, on twitter, that the UFC will not allow him to play his traditional music. The fighter stated, “They’re making me pick a new walkout song. I’ve had this song for the last 9 fights. It gets me in the zone and ready for war. This is bs.”

When fight fans pressed Moraga, asking him why the UFC took this action he revealed the reasoning was due to Sunday’s shooting.
Moraga, for the past nine UFC fights has walked out to “Bones'” “Thuggish Ruggish Bone” track. The song openly discusses gun violence, and gun shots can be heard throughout the track, making in inappropriate after such an incident.
But that isn’t making the fighter feel any better. Athletes are ritual creatures and skipping his nine-fight pre-fight hype song is a mental battle Moraga wasn’t expecting to have to deal with.
Now, a member of “Bone”, Krazyie Bone has reached out to John Moraga, letting him know the rap group still has his back.
Check it out:
“Don’t worry bro you’ll still win! It’s all love from #bonethugs”

Maybe that will help Moraga through it?
