Another great night of fights is now in the books. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) made its way to Gdansk, Poland on Saturday for UFC Fight Night 118. In the day’s main event, welterweight contender Donald Cerrone took on the undefeated Darren Till. While things did not go Cerrone’s way in the headlining event, the two fighters still shared a moment of respect backstage after the fight.
Darren Till pressured his opponent early on in the first round. Backing “Cowboy” into the fence, Till was able to let loose a flurry of strikes that stunned his opponent. With a powerful exchange, Till earned a TKO victory within the first round.
The victory earned Till his 16th victory, as the fighter has yet to be defeated as a professional mixed martial artist. Cerrone, however, is now on a three fight losing streak, with loses to former champion Robbie Lawler and talented striker Jorge Masvidal.
Following the main event match up, Cerrone and Till were caught backstage offering each other their respect with an embrace. Check out the touching moment in the video above.
