Cage Side McGregor, Breaks Rules During Lobov Fight, Gets Warned By Referee Multiple Times

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is in Gdansk, Poland today for UFC Fight Night 118. The fight card is set to see Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone take on Darren Till in the night’s main event. That being said, there is something else that has fans talking at the moment.

UFC superstar Conor McGregor is present for the day’s event, as SGB Ireland teammate Artem Lobov is taking on Andre Fili on the UFC card. During the day’s event, Conor McGregor was seated to watch his teammate battle it out inside the octagon, rather than coach in his corner. However, McGregor was not seated for long.

Referee Marc Goddard gave McGregor several warnings during Lobov’s fight, as fighters are only permitted three cornermen and McGregor was seemingly acting as a fourth during the match. Following the warnings, McGregor offered an apology to Goddard for his apparent sideline coaching.

All that in mind, Artem Lobov suffered a brutal decision defeat to Andre Fili. The fighter is now on a two fight losing streak after facing a decision loss to Cub Swanson.
